The Menagerie is a 5,000 acre wilderness within the Willamette National Forest named for the many rock pinnacles it contains. Most popular are Rooster Rock, Rabbit Ears, Thin Arch and Turkey Monster. Elevations range from 1,200 feet to 3,567 feet. The Middle Santiam Wilderness is 8,542 acres with elevations ranging from 1,520 feet to 4,965 feet. Popular attractions are Chimney Peak, Donaca Lake and the Middle Santiam River.
