South Central Oregon's Upper Klamath Basin is noted for its
blue skies, year-round sunshine, and abundance of public lands.
The 1.1 million-acre Winema National Forest is nestled on the eastern
slopes of the Cascade Mountain Range. To the south of the forest, the Burea
of Land Management - Klamath Falls Resource Area spans 216,000 acres.
These large parcels of public land include open range, lush
wetlands, and access to the Upper Klamath Wild and Scenic River.
