Welcome to the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest's Santa Rosa
Ranger District in beautiful norther Nevada. The District
has 270,000 acres and is divided into tow topographic zones. The
southern zone is steep, with rugged granitic features and high
mountain basins. The northern zone varies from rather flat,
broad basins to mesas with basalt out-crops.
